In northern Pakistan, photographing stopped feeling controlled. The pace, dust, noise and movement forced me to react instinctively rather than think through every frame.

Few places have made me feel so close to the forces that shaped our planet. Iceland was raw, quiet and endlessly alive. In the space between glaciers, volcanic rock and endless skies, the landscape seemed untouched by time, leaving only wonder, humility and the desire to simply witness.

Most of the people I photographed knew we would probably never meet again. Yet they welcomed me with a warmth that felt effortless. A smile, a shared meal, a short conversation, or simply a quiet moment of curiosity was often enough to create a connection that lasted far longer than the encounter itself.
